The Antique Tractor and Gasoline Engine Show, presented by DiamondPro, gives Depot Days attendees the opportunity to view as many as 75 antique farm tractors and watch them perform competitively in several games on September 18^th. The popular event will be staged on Railroad Street from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Rain or shine, organizers expect good participation from tractor owners and exhibitors from the four-county area of Morgan, Lawrence, Madison, and Cullman.
There will be a Tractor Parade for those who want to participate, and several demonstrations and games involving the exhibitors and their tractors are also planned. For one, they will compete in a contest to see who can get the closest to a stationary barrel from a specified distance without contacting it. Tractor games for children are also always part of a good ol’ time.
Whether still in use or only for show, all model tractors from 1923-1962 are eligible to be registered. Exhibitors are also eligible to win door prizes.
