This position requires a practical knowledge of the standard procedures and terminology used in a companion animal hospital. We treat dogs, cats, birds, and most exotic pets. Only applicants with recent, previous veterinary clinic experience will be considered. This position requires computer skills, excellent people skills, a friendly, outgoing demeanor, and the willingness to be a team member.
- Phone reception, answering client inquiries, scheduling appointments, recording messages for doctors and staff
- Greeting Clients, checking patients in, discharging patients, dispensing medications and prescriptions, invoicing
- Data Input- electronic and written medical records/charts
- Receiving Client Payments, posting and recording payments, running end of day transactions and deposits
- Client Communication-patient updates
