  • Our Modern Workforce Strategies Summit was a great success! Thank you to our event sponsor, Calhoun Community College. And thank you to Horizon Point Consulting, Inc. for being our break sponsor! Greg Canfield, Secretary of Commerce for the State of Alabama, delivered a comprehensive review of the work that the Alabama Department of Commerce is executing to help with workforce solutions. Using the "Made in Alabama" branding, he will continue to update and celebrate our great state and the potential we have for a superior workforce. Visit MadeInAlabama.com to learn more. Stephanie McCulloch with North Alabama Works shared resources available to industries now and some resources that are coming soon to help in workforce solutions. Our Educators and Industry panelists did a wonderful job of communicating how they were equipped and inspired to engage in new workforce solutions that have generated more skilled workers entering the workplace more quickly. And, our resource partners were on hand to provide networking and connections to industry leaders.
