MISSY EVANS

Missy Evans
President / CEO

My husband David and I along with our 5 children relocated to Hartselle from Charlotte, North Carolina in June of 2019. David is a Hartselle High School alumnus and his extended family resides in the area. He and I met at Auburn University where I graduated with a degree in Communications. My set of professional experiences includes a number of positions both with for-profit businesses such as Westinghouse Electric and Chrysler Corporation and in the non-profit industry like The Greater Charlotte YMCA, St Giles Presbyterian Church and Christ Covenant Church/Covenant Day School. Most recently, I worked right here in Hartselle with the City Schools serving as a Teachers Aide with 7th & 8th graders at the Junior High School. In these roles, I was responsible for business administration, financial management, board, committee and volunteer management, membership recruitment and retention, continuing education/youth development and new program development.

I thank the HACC Board of Directors for this leadership opportunity. I love the Hartselle area and believe I have been given this opportunity to assist in helping it reach toward its fullest potential. My commitment to invest time and attention to get to know and understand Hartselle’s culture; industry and community is on-going! I stand with the HACC board in its commitment to promote the economic and social well-being of the people of the Hartselle Area.

Lastly, we have a great team of volunteers who have invested generously in the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce, but our strength is in each and every member’s participation. Please consider how you might get involved to work with the HACC to improve the overall quality of life and standard of living for our total community. There are many great ways to use your chamber membership to grow your business while building our community. Feel free to reach out to me at any time; I am eager to hear from you.

JAIME HATCHER

Jaime Hatcher
Director of Promotion and Events

I have loved the city of Hartselle since I moved here with my family at four years old. I attended Hartselle City Schools from K-12 and graduated with honors in 2006 from Hartselle High School. In 2011, I received my Bachelor of Music Degree from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, and have subsequently done career work in music publishing, music education, and church administration. Since 2006, I have lived and worked in Mississippi, New York, Tennessee, England, and Kentucky, but I have found that Hartselle is truly home. My husband and I moved our family back to Hartselle in 2017, and we now reside here with our children, Hank, Chet, Mollie Jane, and our dog, Merle.

I have been with the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce since March of 2021, and I am honored to serve as the Director of Programs and Events. I take great joy in being able to help equip business owners with the tools and information they need to succeed through events like Lunch & Learns and Breakfasts & Business, to educate the community about economic vitality and community involvement through initiatives like Community Branding and our Impact Student Leadership Program, and to bring the Hartselle and surrounding communities together for special events like the Cinderella Ball, Serve Day, and the Depot Days Festival. Programs and events not only bring beauty, education, and, in turn, engagement, but they also help display the importance and relevance of a Chamber of Commerce. I am blessed to help direct our Chamber’s 100+ events each year, from Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies to week-long festivals, and I strive to complete each with excellence.

The vision of the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce is to build community through business. As a lover of people, I look forward to coming to work each day, knowing that I am working to promote the growth and well-being of our special city by building relationships with its wonderful residents and business owners. Thank you to the HACC Board of Directors and all of our wonderful volunteers for entrusting me with this position of leadership. I look forward to all of the wonderful things we will accomplish together!

Beth Foote
Member Experience Specialist

I am a graduate of Danville High School and I attended Calhoun Community College and North Alabama Dental Assisting Program. I am married to my high school sweetheart with two children. We are living the “American Dream”. I enjoy church, the outdoors, camping, crafting, and my pups. I value friendships and relationships. In the past, I have been a HACC Ambassador and a volunteer with the Total Resource Campaign. I also actively volunteer in my children’s schools.

The Hartselle Area Chamber’s mission to lead, strengthen, and serve our community is powerful and impactful. My dream is for my children and their children to have a strong, supportive, and thriving community in years to come. Serving our community is a passion of mine. I have a relationship within my community and that is important. I also have expectations and dreams for my community and being a part of the HACC is my path to seeing those come true.

This quote from Mother Teresa is what motivates me in my position as a Member Care Specialist, “I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water to create many ripples.”
